OBS Configuration

Open Settings

In OBS, go to Settings > Stream.

Select Custom

Set Service to 'Custom...' to enter manual RTMP details.

Enter Server URL

Paste your StreamUps RTMP server URL from the dashboard.

Add Stream Key

Enter your unique StreamUps stream key.

Recommended Settings

  • FPS30-60
  • Encoderx264 / NVENC

  • Bitrate4500-6000 kbps

Troubleshooting FAQ

Stream keeps dropping?
Lower your bitrate. Try 4000 Kbps and work up from there.
Stream looks pixelated?
Increase bitrate or lower output resolution to 720p.
High CPU usage?
Use NVENC if you have an NVIDIA GPU, or set CPU preset to 'superfast'.
Audio out of sync?
Check your audio sync offset in OBS Advanced Audio Properties.
